Clarington, Ontario Moving Companies
North American Van Lines: The Clarington Moving Company That Has the Resources and Features You Need the Most
The municipality of Clarington comprises a substantially large population of over 85,000 residents, serving as an amalgamation of three prior townships that once independently served the municipality of Durham. During the later 20th century, the town of Bowmanville combined with the communities of Darlington and Clarke to form the beginnings of the Clarington municipality in the early 1970s, although it is worth noting that the collective community was known as the Town of Newcastle during these early years. Interestingly, while the eventual title of Clarington calls back to the hybrid nature of the two original towns of Clarke and Darlington, the former town of Bowmanville served as a larger contributor to Clarington’s total population than the two namesake townships combined.
Clarington has garnered something of a reputation as one of the fastest growing communities throughout the Durham region, with the community’s overall growth climbing significantly in recent years. In addition to a range of urban communities that contribute greatly to this overall growth in population, including Bowmanville, Newcastle and Orono, the municipality also serves as home to a range of significant rural communities, including Newtonville, Hamptson, Mitchell Corners, and many more. Roughly 30 major communities fall under the scope of the municipality of Clarington, making it a major player in Durham’s overall economy and culture, along with that of the Greater Ontario region as a whole.
When it comes down to making your way toward any of the collective communities covered by Clarington, there will likely be one major factor at play regardless of your final itinerary. You’re going to want to hit the road with a moving company that features the range of resources you require in order to ensure that everything ends up squared away efficiently at the end of the day. Got any questions you’d like answered before getting your moving process kicked off?
