North American Van Lines: The Vaughan Moving Company that makes for an All in One Super Solution for your Moving Needs
As one of the larger cities comprising the York region of Ontario, the city of Vaughan serves as home to over 288,000 Ontarian residents and has garnered a reputation for undergoing one of the most strikingly expansive and booming population growth rates across the province in recent decades—in fact, Vaughan was the fastest growing city throughout all of Canada for over 10 years at one point, due to a major population boom that added more than 80% of the current population during this time.
Originally, Vaughan served exclusively as a settlement region for Huron-Wendat settlers during the very early settlement period of the 1500s. This early period of development revolved primarily around historic hamlets, including some whose influence have persisted throughout modern times, including the settlement of Thornhill, which would go on to become a substantial area for industrial development that would incentivize new settlers into the area over time. For a great deal of time, what is now Vaughan was known as Vaughan Township, only gaining the official title of the City of Vaughan in recent decades.
It is worth noting that the population of Vaughan is comprised of a much higher population of Italian citizens than almost all other regions of Canada, with more than 33 percent of the population being made up of those of considerable Italian ancestry—this has made for a highly unique culture across Ontarian cities that has set Vaughan apart from its neighboring communities in many more ways than one. Also of note is that a range of major communities make up the inner workings of Vaughan, with six large communities effectively accounting for the bulk of Vaughan’s overall identity—Woodbridge, Maple, Concord, Kleinburg, Thornhill, and the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre combine to form what is collectively known as Vaughan.
There’s much more to Vaughan than simply meets the eye—when you’re ready to find out firsthand, the pros at North American Van Lines can ensure that you get to enjoy the finer things along the way –we’re equipped to handle much more than just a basic move. Still have any questions? Simply reach out as soon as today to find out more.
